Ko Amanda Terry ahau

I was born and bred in Palmerston North and moved to Ohakune in 2017.

In 2006, I joined the NZ Army as a Administrator and served 12 years.  During my time in the Army I was posted to numerous units in Linton Camp as the Unit Administrator, the Legal Executive in Wellington for Defence Legal Services and my final posting to The Army Depot, Waiouru as an Instructor.  In 2012 I deployed to the Sinai Desert, Egypt for 7 months as the Liaison Clerk.

I am currently studying Accounting through UCOL in Palmerston North.

INFLUENCES

As a mother at the age of 15, my greatest influence and purpose was my children.  They taught me to strive and persevere for the things I wanted and needed to provide a successful life for myself and young family.

My biggest influences as an adult are my horses, they have taught me so much about myself and I am continually learning through them.
