Auckland born and bred I moved to Raetihi in 2011 for a change in lifestyle and I absolutely love it!

INFLUENCES

​

My upbringing in a close and loving family with strong role models has shaped who I am today. We were always encouraged to try our best and to be honest and fair with others and ourselves  to basically “Do unto Others as You Would have done Unto You”

By working hard and” Giving it a Go “ we could realise our potential and be proud of our achievements. This was enstilled at an early age and we were given clear boundaries of what is right and wrong and we were then responsible for our actions and the consequences and the support was always there whatever the outcome was.

I believe if we can be happy within ourselves in will transfer to all aspects of our life and enable us to form strong healthy relationships.

The Journey through life is about constant learning,embracing new possibilities and keeping it fun!’ Laughter is the Best Medicine’

Unfortunately  we can’t always change the things that happen in life  but we can change how we deal with it!

I personally always try to find the “Silver Linings” in every situation.

 

PERSONAL MILESTONES

Starting my career as a Junior Florist in the 1980’s training to become a senior Florist, teaching others and running my own floral business in the 1990’s.

Then making the change to a Sales Rep and being successful in the role for 11 years.

The biggest was taking a leap of faith and moving from Auckland to Raetihi  whilst dealing with a lot of personal  situations and coming out the other end in one piece! As they say ‘What doesn’t Kill  You Makes You Stronger’

Through again starting up a new business there is now the opportunity through Dream Makers Trust to combine my love of  animals and helping others.

Along the way and in the future I will be seeking knowledge and participating in courses to further my skill set and of course using Good Old Fashion Common Sense!
