BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS 
I have worked in the Waimarino/Whanganui community for the last ten years in the following roles:
Community Coordinator for Raetihi Community Trust .
Chills Off secretary/treasurer – heating and upgrading Raetihi Pools.
Supervisor for YMCA OSCAR after school and holiday programme at Raetihi School.
Co-facilitator of Incredible Years and White Water Years parenting programmes in Raetihi with Jigsaw Whanganui.
Schools and Community Coordinator and council member, Ruapehu REAP.
Social Worker for Jigsaw in Whanganui.
SKIP contract promoting positive parenting through Nancy Winter Early Childhood Centre.
Member of COGS local distribution committee.
 
Prior I have worked in Auckland as a qualified social worker in Youth Justice; Northern Residential Centre; Child Youth and Family’s National Intake Centre; Community Health and Auckland Hospital. As well as many years as a youth worker.
INFLUENCES
My mother, Joan Lardner (QSM)- a community development stalwart- 87 years young and still highly active in the Auckland community
My two adolescent children - greatest teachers
Playcentre- parent cooperative run early childhood centre.

PERSONAL MILESTONES
Coordinator Wai 4 Y – Waimarino For Youth- youth led research project 2012-13. 
Thesis for First Class Honours Masters degree in 2010 on the communities of Raetihi and Ohakune “A Comparative Study of Two Small & Remote Urban Communities – Implications for Social Policy & Practice”.
